What is a job?

Jobs are any activity that you and your team want to track! For example:

• Monthly preventative maintenance
• Inverter instability troubleshooting
• Collect tariffs on electricity use
• Collecting/purchasing replacement parts

Job Details tab includes the job's basic information, including:

• Name
• Notes
• Type (Preventative Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Customer Management, or Other)
• Due Date (one-time or repeating)
• Assigned To
• Manager
• Incident Time Tracking

Job Workflows tab includes the specific sub-tasks (checklists) related to the job. See more information on Workflows in Using Workflows .

Job Activity tab is where you can add comments (text and photos) related to the job, flag certain activities for review, and track comments and notes made previously on the job.

What jobs show up in your inbox?

Your inbox shows the jobs that are either assigned to or managed by you that may require your attention. The inbox has the following sections:

1. New jobs: your jobs that have not yet been opened
2. New activity: your jobs that have new activity (comments, status changes) that you have not seen

For all inbox sections, most recently updated jobs are shown first.
